0.3 tanning

 

0.3 tanning is the regulation governing the maximum UV output of sunbeds, as approved by the British government. This output complies with all British consumer safety regulations. 

0.3 tanning delivers the same effect as the mid-day Mediterranean summer sun, however without the risk of burning.

The main benefits of 0.3 tanning are:

• A deeper, longer-lasting tan for your clients.

• A gentler, kinder, and more relaxing tanning process.

• Much lower risk of overexposure and burning. Customers can therefore tan for longer periods, allowing them to relax and unwind!

• Salons can also sell longer tanning sessions, increasing revenue.

• The depth of the tan that 0.3 lamps produce can also work out more cost-effectively for the customer. By using 0.3 lamps, tanners need fewer sessions to achieve as deep a tan.

• Salons eliminate their chances of fines for non-compliance with this legal requirement.

Have you tried hybrid or rainbow tanning?

As the tanning industry develops, so does the technology, with the latest popular movement being toward hybrid tanning and rainbow tanning. Not only does this offer a great aesthetic for your clients, but each coloured lamp offers a different experience for your customers. 

Red: Signature for hybrid tanning, as well as a great feature in rainbow sunbeds too, red tanning lamps work to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The increase in these proteins helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful appearance. Red light may also have a positive effect on scar tissue, thanks to its correlation with tissue repair.

Yellow: The Yellow light in our collection of Rainbow tanning lamps mimics sunlight. It additionally encourages an increased level of optimism, a joy of life, self-confidence and creativity. The special UVB light also increases the production of vitamin D and serotonin, which are absolutely vital to life and boost health.
